Business Interests

Police Regulations require that an officer who has, or proposes to have, a
business interest must give written notice to the Chief Constable.

The general rule is that an officer who undertakes an activity or intends to
do so for which payment in cash or in kind is received, should assume that it
constitutes a business interest which requires to be reported.
