Dyfed Powys Police has consistently delivered a high quality policing service to the public across Force area and the excellent performance outlined in the latest crime statistics is testament to that.
The British Crime Survey says perceived levels of anti-social behaviour are lower than anywhere in England and Wales at 5%, and more people think that their police are dealing with local concerns.
Recorded Crime Figures Summary for year ending September 2010:
- Recorded crime down 8.1% in Dyfed Powys (the lowest levels of crime in England and Wales)
- Robbery is down by 12.5% in Dyfed Powys (at 35 offences this is the lowest number of Robberies in England and Wales)
- Dwelling burglary down 1.9% in Dyfed Powys (the lowest level of domestic burglary in England and Wales)
- Vehicle crime down 10.8% in Dyfed Powys (the lowest level of vehicle crime in England and Wales)
- Criminal damage down 18.1% in Dyfed Powys (the lowest level of criminal damage in England and Wales)
- Violence against the person down 9.0% in Dyfed Powys (the lowest levels of violence against persons in England and Wales)
