Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements Annual Report

This is the eighth Multi-Agency Public Protection (MAPPA) Report published by Dyfed Powys MAPPA Strategic Management Board (SMB). The report provides a brief overview of the Local MAPPA arrangements, some statistical information and case studies to illustrate the type of work undertaken and the main developments over the past year.

The main aim of MAPPA in Dyfed Powys, is to protect the public by managing the risk posed by offenders and therefore reduce the number of victims of serious crime. This work is a major priority for the Police, Prison Service and Probation who collectively form the MAPPA “Responsible Authority”. Many other agencies throughout Dyfed Powys contribute to and are actively involved in this important work.
