Making a Statement

While your designated Specially Trained Officer is with you, they
will need to take a full account of the incident to be used in the
investigation and later at court.  Your preferred method of giving you
account will be discussed with you.

The statement will usually be recorded on DVD or, in a specially equipped room. The room may be at a SARC or other centre.

Sometimes your account will be a written statement which you will sign.
