We take every report of rape and sexual assault on a male or female very seriously and will investigate each instance thoroughly. We want you to feel able to report the attack to us, so that we can find out who is responsible and to prevent an attack on anyone else.
Together, with the Crown Prosecution Service, we are striving to provide the best service to you.
If you are in danger or your attacker is still present, call 999.
It is your decision whether to report the attack to the police or not. You can contact a Sexual Assault Referral Centre for help and support or phone a Helpline
