What We Have Done

Updated: 28/06/10
  • Anti-social behaviour
Increased patrols have been conducted in areas such as Maesglas / Felin Ban. A number of people have been referred to the Anti-social Behaviour Co-ordinator for Ceredigion, which has resulted in warning letters being issued. Seizures of alcohol have been made from underage people, and a number of youths have been arrested for various public order offences.
  • Illegal cycling
A number of verbal warnings have been given to people - if they are seen in similar circumstances again, then they may be reported or dealt with by fixed penalty notices for any offences committed.
  • Dog fouling
Joint patrols have been undertaken with the County Council community warden to try and detect offences, but also advise dog owners.
  • Anti-social behaviour - North Road
Identified as mainly local school children gathering before school. Area patrolled regularly, and school visited by police for message to be reinforced to pupils.
