Inspector Nicola Carter

Sergeant Alison Rees

Collar Number: 843

Sergeant Alison Rees was born and brought up in Pembrokeshire. She joined Avon and Somerset Constabulary in 1986 and spent 8 years policing in Bristol before transferring "home" to Dyfed -Powys in 1994. On return to the area she was stationed at Cardigan Police Station, and has served there both as a PC and then Sergeant. In January 2007 she joined the Neighbourhood Policing Team, with responsibility for supervising the team in the Mid and South Ceredigion area.

PC Gary Jenkins

PC Gary Jenkins joined the force in 1979 as a cadet and is a native of the Gwendraeth valley. He has previously worked at Aberystwyth and Cardigan and has been in Aberaeron for the last six years. He has worked as a community officer for most of his service.

PCSO Trish Smith

Collar Number: 8016

PCSO Trish Smith joined the New Quay and Aberaeron team in January 2007. Her aim is to work closely with my community with a view to address and resolve any community issues they may have. She spent many enjoyable years visiting Aberaeron and New Quay, and considers herself lucky that she now works there.

Attend neighbourhood policing meetings, report crime and anti-social behaviour, join in community activities and Neighbourhood Watch, and visit your local council for information on community safety schemes in your area.

Neighbourhood Meetings

Discuss community issues with your Neighbourhood Policing Team and have the chance to influence their priorities.

  • London House, Aberaeron at 10.30 on 26/1/10 (in conjunction with the country market)
  • Memorial Hall, Newquay from 11am – 12.30pm on 5/2/10 (with country market)

Surgeries

Speak with your local police in confidence.

  • Penwig Hotel, New Quay 9.30 – 10.30am on the 15th of every month
  • Chapel Vestry , Llanon 10.30 – 11.30am on the 1st Thursday of every month
  • Llanarth Church Hall 11am – 12pm on the 1st Tuesday of every month
  • Mobile surgery  at Talgarreg 2 – 3pm  on the 1st Thursday of every month
  • Mobile surgery at Cross Inn, near Pennant 12.30 – 1.30pm on the 1st Tuesday of every month
