What We Have Done

  • Parking in Pontrhydfendigaid
The roadworks are not yet complete but when this is done a traffic order will be applied for so that parking restrictions can be enforced.  In the meantime a letter has been placed on cars parked along the narrow road (B4343) asking people to refrain from parking there voluntarily.
  • Youths hanging around the community centre in Llanddewi Brefi
Police have attended the site on numerous occasions to speak with local youths.  There have been no further reported problems or incidents at the location.
  • HGVs speeding through Pontrhydygroes and Ysbyty Ystwyth
Attendance by Traffic Police and Neighbourhood Officers on numerous occasions has failed to reveal a speeding problem on the road.
