When to Dial 999

You should only dial 999 in an an emergency.

An emergency could be :

Serious injury has been caused or there is a threat of serious injury
A crime is in progress and the suspects are at or near the scene

We aim to respond to all emergency calls within 20 minutes.

All calls will be recorded for training and evidential purposes.
