Neighbourhood Meetings

  • Unfortunately there will no longer be PACT meetings held due to the lack of attendance. Instead, we will be conducting street briefings which will involve speaking to the public and obtaining the communities needs/concerns by completing questionnaires with members of the community whilst out on patrol. This new method will enable us to speak to more people and obtain more information relating to the community. These questionnaires will be kept at the St Clears and Whitland police stations and will only be seen by police staff involved in the process. This information will be used to help us target issues and to respond to the policing needs of each community. These questionnaires will be looking at what problems are currently affecting your street/community, when these problems occur, whether you have done anything about it and if so, what was the outcome? It would also look at what you would like the police and partner agencies to do about the issue, as well as anything else that you would like to tell us about.
