  • SUPER PACT MEETING

Wednesday 5th February 2014 at 6.00pm in Burry Port Community Office

This is our first 'Super PACT' which is to be held for Burry Port, Pembrey and Glyn area. We will be having several guest speakers at the meeting from various Partner Agencies to help give an insight to what they can offer the community. There will also be an opportunity afterwards for any questions to be asked. Please come along!

Sergeant Stuart Bell 177

  • Sergeant Stuart Bell has been a police officer for 10 ½ years. He joined because he wanted to do a job that would give him a sense of contributing something positive to society.  After 5 years’ service with South Wales Police in Barry, he transferred to Dyfed Powys Police and Pembrokeshire. Soon, he was promoted to Llanelli,  and has spent time working in custody and with neighbourhood policing teams in Ammanford and Llwynhendy.

He is looking forward to the challenges of being sergeant in Burry Port and Kidwelly, and because neighbourhood policing is right at the front line of policing it means he’s still doing what he joined to do 10 years ago – which is serve people in his local community.

PC Vanessa Vaughan 830

  • PC Vanessa Vaughan started her career with Dyfed-Powys Police in March 1993 where she spent four years in Welshpool. She then transferred to Llanelli and has spent the last ten years patrolling the beat in Burry Port.

PCSO Liz Kempster-Hall 8093

  • PCSO Liz Kempster joined the Kidwelly team in 2010. Prior to this she spent 4 years working in the Control Room in Carmarthen Headquarters.  She started in the Communication Centre as a Call Handler, later becoming an Incident Handler.

PCSO Phillip Davies

  • PCSO Phillip Davies joined Dyfed- Powys Police in February 2010 working out of St Clears police station as a Special Constable. In November 2013 he was posted to Burry Port as a PCSO. He previously worked as a communications advisor in the force control room in police headquarters. Neighbourhood policing and engaging with members of the community has been a great interest of his and is looking forward to the challenges in his new role as a PCSO.
