  • FELINFOEL NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH SCHEME

Thank you for showing an interest in keeping your community safe, and helping to prevent and detect crime by being part of the Felinfoel Neighbourhood Watch (NHW) scheme. This is not a police-run scheme, but a community-led scheme working with the police in Felinfoel concentrating solely on Felinfoel.
The ethos behind NHW is basically creating a community that cares, working together to make a better place to live. It is one of the biggest and most successful crime prevention initiatives ever. As a resident, you have a specialised knowledge of the community; and by letting the police know of anything suspicious that you see or hear, you are helping to reduce the opportunity for crime to occur. You are not spying on your neighbours, you are helping to create a safer community with everyone looking out for one another and their property.
There are other scheme benefits, such as becoming familiar with crime prevention ideas that will help keep you and your home safe; and having a scheme in your area may even mean that you get a discount from your insurance company.

If you wish to join the NHW scheme, information can be gained from the www.ourwatch.org.uk site and putting in your post code, or by contacting Pc 164 Steve Kettle on 101 or via email steve.kettle@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk
