Inspector James Davies 2019

  • James Davies

    Inspector James Davies has over twenty years police service, most recently within Carmarthenshire at Llanelli and Carmarthen and as neighbourhood policing inspector covering the Towy-Gwendraeth area, he is also a trained police public order commander. He has previously worked in the control room at Police Headquarters in Llangunnor, and has also served in Powys and with the Metropolitan Police in London, where he worked for the first 8 years of his police career, working primarily in the West and South London areas.

Sergeant Ian Francis 1040

  • Ian Francis

    Sergeant Ian Francis transferred to Dyfed-Powys Police in May 2001 from the Metropolitan Police. He joined there in 1987 at Woolwich in South East London and was promoted as a Sergeant to Southwark Borough in 1998. He has worked in Carmarthen, Llwynhendy, Ammanford and the Performance Management Unit before being posted to Burry Port in April 2007. He previously worked in a concrete factory in Pembrey and lived in the lower Gwendraeth Valley, going to school in Llanelli.

PC Garry Cutler 1093

  • PC Garry Cutler has been stationed at Kidwelly for five years, previously working at Carmarthen Town. He joined the neighbourhood policing team in December 2008, and is currently a member of the police Public Support Unit, which operates in public order assignments.

PCSO Liz Kempster 8093

  • PCSO Liz Kempster joined the Kidwelly team in 2010. Prior to this she spent 4 years working in the Control Room in Carmarthen Headquarters.  She started in the Communication Centre as a Call Handler, later becoming an Incident Handler.
