Inspector James Davies 2019

  • James Davies

    Inspector James Davies has over twenty years police service, most recently within Carmarthenshire at Llanelli and Carmarthen and as neighbourhood policing inspector covering the Towy-Gwendraeth area, he is also a trained police public order commander. He has previously worked in the control room at Police Headquarters in Llangunnor, and has also served in Powys and with the Metropolitan Police in London, where he worked for the first 8 years of his police career, working primarily in the West and South London areas.

Sergeant Eddie Donnelly 296

  • Eddie Donnelly

    Sergeant Eddie Donnelly joined Dyfed-Powys Police in 1983, He was originally posted to Llanelli where worked as a police Constable and then Detective Constable before being promoted to Sergeant at Carmarthen in 1989. Following on from this he has worked at Cross Hands, Burry Port, Llanelli, Ammanford. He was posted to Felinfoel in 2006 and then was given responsibility for both Llwynhendy and Felinfoel. At the end of May 2010 he was asked to undertake responsibility for Neighbourhood Policing for Llwynhendy and Felinfoel. He lives locally and is married with two sons.

PC Mike Richardson 414

  • PC Mike Richardson transferred to Dyfed-Powys Police from West Midlands Police in 2005. He worked initially in Milford Haven before moving back to Carmarthen, where after a period working response duties he took up position of Neighbourhood Police Officer for the Llangunnor and Tregynnor area. He began his career in the health service before joining West Midlands in 2001, where he was involved with a variety of police response work in the Oldbury area of Smethwick.

PCSO Steve Lloyd 8041

  • PCSO Steve Lloyd joined Dyfed-Powys Police in October 2006, working from the Llwynhendy office. He previously worked as a primary school teacher in Carmarthenshire, and following a number of years in the classroom decided that it was time to change direction and become a PCSO. He says, “The role appealed to me from a number of fronts, including the fact that it would be diverse in nature, that much of my time would be spent outdoors, and also the fact that it involves meeting and addressing the needs of the community.”
