13/03/2012 - Alcohol was seized and disposed of from a group of under age youths in the Steynton Road area.
15/07/2010 - The following area has been patrolled in relation to young people
and the abuse of alcohol: The Rath, Watergardens, Pill Play Park, St
Davids church, Lower Priory, Meads Field, Slip Hill, Milford Beach,
Conduit Beach, Gelliswick, Marble Hall Road and the Coastal Path near
South Hook. There appears to be a decrease in the abuse of alcohol at
these locations as most areas mentioned above have been free of any
cans, bottles or other containers regarding alcohol. Two years ago the
team were seizing alcohol almost on a daily basis, at the present time
very little is seized. Patrols continue to discourage young people
consuming alcohol in public places. The Free Fun days continue with the
next event on the 28th July at the Gelliswick Yacht Club for over 14s.
Sporting event at the Meads Sports Centre on the 30th July and fishing
on the 13th August.
