Past Priorities

PC Kenny Small 773

  • PC Kenny Small has been based at Pembroke Dock for 14 years and lives in the area. He said: “I see neighbourhood policing as a return to the true role of a police officer, something we did in the past to great effect. “I look forward to listening and walking rather than computing and driving.”

PCSO Dave Powell 8013

  • PCSO Dave Powell has worked as a fire officer in Libya and a traffic warden in Tenby. He became a PCSO in 2005 and was a member of the Milford Haven Neighbourhood Policing Team. He said: “I have for the past two years been helping with the communities of Milford Haven with anti-social behaviour and other problems. I feel a difference can be seen since we started and I am now looking forward to supporting my own community.”

PCSO Alex Jenkins 8068

  • PCSO Alex Jenkins has been in post since June 2007. She has enjoyed working closely with the local schools, and feels that showing their faces in the classroom as well as initiating competitions has helped the team to develop a good relationship with the children and the teachers. The children have responded well and sometimes shout the team’s names when they see them on patrol. One of her other responsibilities has been to reinstate Neighbourhood Watch to the area.

PCSO Emma Thomas 8033

  • PCSO Emma Thomas is an extra post for the Pembroke Dock team. She has recently been working as traffic warden in the town. She said: “I am looking forward to getting to know the community and making a difference.”
