27/07/11 -
Patrols have been carried out in Llanwrtyd town during the
weekend evenings and I have spoken with some children. I will continue to monitor the situation
and hope to have a positive response to my report in the Grapevine regarding
the use of 101.I have liaised with Licensing regarding these reports of ASB
and will have an update for you regarding any outcome in the next few
months.09/06/11 - It has been brought to my attention that there are problems during the early hours of the morning with persons (the reason I say persons as it could either be local youths/ persons leaving the public houses late on into the night) causing ASB; being loud, shouting, singing, throwing bottles on the square etc. I have visited the local public houses advising them of this nuisance behaviour after closing hours, especially after the incident with the broken glass in the square. Will continue to visit the local pubs when in the town on evening patrols. During patrols of the town on evenings I have spoken to a number of youngsters congregating in the square. All have been pleasant and happy to speak with officers. Words of advice have been given on these occasions but most claim it is not them who are out at 3am in the morning. I have also asked that if there are problems then people must call us at the time as well. At present there are very few calls reporting ASB in Llanwrtyd at these said times. We need to be contacted and these problems reported so we can evidence any problems. This is a priority I will continue to work on and hopefully will receive the reports in order to take more positive action.
09/06/11 - The toilets have been locked over night for over 1 month now and from local reports there has been a massive decrease in the ASB in that area. No complaints of youths hanging around being loud and causing damage at all times of night. There has also been a positive response from Powys County Council who says there has been no mess to clear up inside the toilets like they were having and no damage caused within. This is all very positive and I am now happy to remove this from our priorities pending any further problems.

27/07/11 - I have no further update at this time regarding the camera partnership
agency. They are continuing to look at sites within Llanwrtyd and we will
hopefully see the speed van out in the town soon.09/06/11 - I have spoken to Suzanne Davies at the Camera Partnership Agency. They are still looking into a site in Llanwrtyd. They have collated Speed and Collision data for the town, they have looked into all the community factors e.g. School locations, shops, houses etc. and are now looking into the signage for the town. There is a slight problem they have found with some signage which they have requested the Trunk Road agency look into and are awaiting a result back from them. I will look for a further update during the next month.
