    12/07/11 - High visibility patrols of Plas Grounds/Football Stands.

    Several alcohol confiscations have been achieved in the highlighted areas of concern with the support of members of the community providing information and assisting with removal of alcohol from underage youths

    09/06/11 - High visibility patrols of  football stands etc to monitor and confiscate any alcohol and prevent anti-social behaviour. No issues identified

    11/05/11 - High visibility patrols of Plas Grounds/Football Stands have continued at pertinent times.

Anti-social vehicle use

    12/07/11 - Complaints of anti-social vehicle use have been received with regard to Lord Herberts Lake and Dyfi Forest with off road vehicles.

    Several visits have been made to the Dyfi Forest area along with representatives of the Forestry Commission.  Also a meeting is to be held with the Senior Rights of Way and Access Officer to deal with as a partnership approach with regard to Lord Herberts Lake area.

    09/06/11 - Continued patrols of car parks and main streets identified previously being used for anti-social vehicle use. No issues identified.

    11/05/11 - Continued patrols of area’s identified as being used for anti-social vehicle use.  No warnings have been issued during April.

PC Kieran Day 302

  • Kieran Day

    PC Kieran Day Joined Dyfed-Powys Police in 1998 after completing 22 years service in the Army where he served with the Parachute Regiment.  Since joining the Police he has worked as a Beat and Armed Response Officer. He has previously been stationed at Aberystwyth, Machynlleth and Welshpool.  

    PC Day took over the role of Neighbourhood Policing Team officer in January 2012 and this is his second tour of duty serving the communities of Machynlleth and Llanbrynmair.  He will be committed to tackling local issues and ensuring that the area remains one of the safest places to live, work and visit in England and Wales.

PCSO Caron Monk 8074

  • As Police Community Support Officer within Machynlleth, PCSO Caron Monk is able to draw upon her extensive local knowledge to benefit the communities of Machynlleth. In conjunction with her previous experience of community nursing Caron has a clear aim to assist with and resolve problems which members of the community experience.
