Parking

Date Agreed:
21/05/2010
Action:

There are many locations whereby motorists park their vehicles illegally. Four key locations have been specified in the last PACT meeting as they create inconsideration and danger to other motorists: Seion Hill, The bus stop and loading bay on High Street, The bus stop outside Ysgol Dyffryn Teifi and Llandysul CP School, Llynyfran Road.

Updates:

19/10/10 - Llandysul NPT have conferred with the traffic and highways departments of Ceredigion County Council. Ceredigion County Council have decided to take the following course of action: On 28 September 2010, Ceredigion County Council's Cabinet decided to proceed with a review of existing traffic orders in place throughout the County. In view of the above resolution any issues relating to signs and carriageway markings for traffic orders will be dealt with as part of the work to produce the digital maps needed in the review process. Requests to change or introduce traffic orders will be considered as part of the development process being carried out by the Authority. Parking notices and advice had been given to motorists who parked their vehicles illegally before the last PACT meeting. Parking has remained as one of our priorities as it is an ongoing problem in Llandysul.
