Llwynhendy Cuppa with a Copper
PCSO Katie Young of Llwynhendy neighbourhood policing team has launched Cuppa with a Copper in Morrisons – Pemberton.
Morrisons has thousands of customers every week, and local officers think it is a prime location for local people to meet their local officer.
Customers are being invited to call into Morrisons café every Wednesday afternoon between 3-4pm and have a Cuppa with a Copper. Officers are encouraging people to Call in and get crime prevention advice or tell us what you think we can do to improve your community!
Store manager Valerie Powell said “I am very happy to be working in partnership with Llwynhendy Neighbourhood Policing team, and feel that by working together we can create a safer community to work and live in”.
Insp James Davies the area inspector added, “We are continually seeking extra ways for our communities to be able to interact with their local police, so that they can inform us of their problems and enable us to take practical steps to respond to them. Cuppa with a copper provides a further means to do this”
