Police appeal for witnesses following fatal crash

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have witnessed a road traffic collision which resulted in the death of one of the drivers.

The accident on the A4067 between Ystradgynlais and Abercrave happened at 1.50pm on Friday 15th July and involved three vehicles., a silver Renault Scenic, a white Suzuki Swift and a silver Skoda Fabia.

“Two days after the accident 78 year old David Hughes who was the front seat passenger of the Renault Scenic, died,” said Sergeant Huw Thomas. “If anyone witnessed this accident, I would once more appeal for them to contact police at Brecon on 101 in order to help with our inquiries into what exactly happened.”
