Three men arrested and woman injured in public order incident in Llandovery.
During the early hours of Sunday 19th November 2011 police were called to a large scale fight at Llandovery RFC.
At a party at the club, a 19 year old woman was glassed in the face by a male who was unknown to her, causing substantial injuries.
“The young woman was taken to Morriston Hospital to obtain specialist treatment for her injuries,” said Detective Inspector Steve Cockwell. .”The incident resulted in a number of people intervening which then escalated into a large scale fight. Two police cars were also damaged during the disorder.”
“The 34 year old suspect of the glassing also received minor injuries and was taken to hospital, but was released immediately after treatment. He was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and later released on police bail.”
“Another man, aged 23, was arrested for assaulting him and causing criminal damage to a police vehicle. He was also bailed pending further enquiries.”
“A third male, aged 20 was also arrested and cautioned for criminal damage to a police vehicle.”
