Police investigate criminal damage at Metropole Hotel, Llandrindod Wells

Police in Llandrindod Wells are investigating criminal damage at the Metropole Hotel where panes of glass in two wall mounted display units were smashed.

The damage happened at around 12.25am in the early hours of Sunday 11th December 2011 and is believed to have been as a result of a fight which occurred in the rear corridor of the hotel.

“I would ask that anyone who was at the hotel attending a Christmas Party on the evening of Saturday 10th December and may have knowledge of the incident to contact me to discuss further,” said PC Anthea Ponting. “ A woman was seen in the corridor at the time of the fight and I would ask that she get in touch with me as she may have vital information as to how the damage occurred.

“If anyone has any information regarding this crime, has seen the damage, or knows who was responsible or heard of anything suspicious in the hotel or has had any other relevant information please contact me on 101 at Llandrindod Wells Police Station or phone the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.”
