Appeal for information following serious injury RTC

Police in Llanelli are appealing for information following a road traffic collision which left  three people with serious injuries.

The collision, which involved a blue Renault Twingo and blue and white skip lorry, happened  at 12:38pm on Monday 6th February  on a narrow unclassified road that runs between Pinged and Mynydd Penbre. Locally this is known as Mountain Road.

“Four People were taken to hospital, with three sustaining some serious injuries,” said Sergeant Ian Price of the Roads Policing Unit. “One of the passengers of the Twingo remains in a serious condition.

“We are investigating the cause and would like to speak to anyone who may have seen the vehicles involved travelling on nearby roads prior to this collision.
