Feedback sought on police equality priorities.
Dyfed-Powys Police is currently consulting about its priorities for equality and diversity in preparation for our Strategic Equality Plan 2012 – 2016.
The consultation document sets out the reasons for the equality priorities we have identified. The consultation document and online questionnaire are on our website at:
http://www.dyfed-powys.police.uk/en/about-us/equality-and-diversity/our-equality-objectives
“Dyfed Powys Police is sfully committed to ensuring that every person who resides, works or visits the Dyfed-Powys Police area receives treatment that is fair, meets their particular needs and does not discriminate against any person,” said Deputy Chief Constable Jackie Roberts. “We already have systems and policies in place, and a good idea of what our equality priorities are for the coming years.
“But we need the views and opinions of the wider community. So I would urge anyone with an interest in equality issues to take part in the consultation.”
Anyone wishing to pass on feedback can visit the force web page http://www.dyfed-powys.police.uk/sites/default/files/111208_consultation_equality_priorities_5.pdf
to look at the consulation document. Suggestions can be posted to http://www.snapsurveys.com/swh/surveylogin.asp?k=132645369215 .
This consultation will come to an end on 29 February 2012.
