Police launch inquiries into two burglaries in Welshpool area

Two burglaries, one of which was an unsuccessful attempt, are under investigation by officers in Welshpool.
The first one happened about half a mile from Neuadd Bridge towards Meifod on A495 on the night of Thursday 26th into Friday 27th January. Around £500 worth of scrap metal and unidentifiable tools were taken.
In the second incident overnight on Wednesday 25th January, also on the A495 between the Llanfyllin turning and Llansantffraid, an attempt was made to get into a shed. Nothing was taken on this occasion but a shed lock was taken off using boltcroppers.
