Police services under the spotlight in Merlin’s Walk

Bobby Van operator and crime prevention cooridinator Colin Taylor, Merlin’s Walk manager John Nash, PCSO Jade Jones and PCSO Leighton Tipping.

Officers with Dyfed Powys Police will be in Carmarthen town centre on Wednesday 20th February to promote two of the services provided by the organisation.

Between 2-4pm PCSO Jade Jones and PCSO Leighton Tipping will be offering advice and information on the Bobby Van scheme and OWL, the online watch link.

“If anyone would like to know more about these two services, come along to Merlin’s Walk on Wednesday and we will talk you through them,” said PCSO Jade Jones. “The Bobby Van is a popular and importantly free home security service which we provide to the elderly and victims of crime.

“And Owl is a scheme which allows us to pass relevant information on to the community and allows them a chance to respond back.

“If you think you could benefit from either then come along and meet us and find out more.”
