Local Priorities

  1. To continue to deal with illegal parking in Newport
  2. To increase patrols in the St Dogmaels area especially around the Abbey in order to deter anti-social behaviour by youths

What We Have Done

  • Youths in Cilgerran Castle and surrounding areas after hours causing general nuisance and damage
    Further meetings have been held with CADW regarding security at the castle and issues are being addressed. Patrols have been carried out in the areas at key times.

Who's Who

PC Eryl Harries

Collar Number: 892

PC Eryl Harries has been a police officer for 23 years. She is the Neighbourhood Officer for Fishguard, Crymych and St Davids area. She enjoys working with the communities and is looking forward to becoming more involved with local issues.

PCSO Ben Cole

Collar Number: 8018

PCSO Ben Cole is the dedicated PCSO for Crymych. He is welsh speaking is fulfilling a life long ambition by joining the police.

PCSO Olivia Jones

Collar Number: 8038

PCSO Olivia Jones will be joining her father who is a PC at Fishguard Police Station. She has grown up in Dinas Cross and went to school in Fishguard. She said: "I have always been interested in the police, fascinated as a youngster by the role of my father as a Police Officer and chose to become a PCSO as our role is very much community based."

How You Can Take Action

Attend neighbourhood policing meetings, report crime and anti-social behaviour, join in community activities and Neighbourhood Watch, and visit your local council for information on community safety schemes in your area.

Neighbourhood Meetings

Discuss community issues with your Neighbourhood Policing Team and have the chance to influence their priorities.

1st Saturday of the month between 10am-12pm at Crymych Market
