Fishguard Neighbourhood Policing Team
Local Priorities
- To continue to provide high visibility patrols in Maesgrug, Goodwick in order to deal with all aspects of anti-social behaviour.
What We Have Done
- To increase high visibility foot patrols in Maesgrug, Goodwick in order to deal and deter all aspects of anti-social behaviour such as conduct of youths, litter and inconsiderate driving
Two persons present at the PACT meeting stated that since last month’s meeting they had seen an increase in police presence in their area. They have not had any problems with boy racers and no reports of ‘shed’ parties. - To deal with motorists who are parking their vehicles along Penbanc, Fishguard and are causing an obstruction to other road users
The main problem seems to be when children are taken and collected from school. Several parents have been warned that they are causing an obstruction when they park opposite the entrance into West Street car park and have been advised that they could be prosecuted.
