Local Priorities

  1. General anti-social behaviour from motorists on high street Neyland, including speeding, parking, seat belts and the use of mobile phones
  2. Speeding traffic and vehicles exceeding the weight limit through the village of Thornton

What We Have Done

  1. Speeding on Langford Road, Johnston
    Speed checks have been conducted on Langford Road on a number of occasions, no offences to disclose, we will continue to monitor the situation.
  2. Parking at Brookside Avenue, Johnston
    A letter drop has taken place in Brookside Avenue, Johnston reminding residents of their responsibilities whilst parking.  We have visited the area on a number of times and at varying times, no offences to disclose.

The area covered by the Milford Haven Rural team includes Neyland, Johnston, Burton, Llangwm, Hook, Hill Mountain, Sardis, Houghton, Freystrop, Tiers Cross, Herbrandston, Dale, Marloes, St Ishmaels, St Brides, Dreen Hill, Walwyns Castle and St Martins Haven.

PC Terri Harrison

Collar Number: 968

You will probably see PC Terri Harrison as she cycles or runs to work. She said: “I am most looking forward to helping the community and setting up neighbourhood surgeries in the more rural areas such as Dale.”

PCSO Lyndon Brown

Collar Number: 8062

PCSO Lyndon Brown is following in his father’s footsteps by joining the police force. He said: “I have now settled into my role as a PCSO. I feel that it is a great challenge to work with the local community and other organisations to try and resolve issues and hopefully make it a better place to be. I enjoy all aspects of my work especially meeting members of the community and assisting them with their issues."

PCSO Helen Scott

Collar Number: 8057

Former fitness instructor PCSO Scott is looking forward to helping people to make their neighbourhoods enjoyable places to live. She said: "I enjoy health and fitness and have previously completed 2 London Marathons and now live close enough to be able to run or cycle to work. I enjoy being outdoors, not behind a desk so look forward to walking around my patch meeting everyone."

How You Can Take Action

Attend neighbourhood policing meetings, report crime and anti-social behaviour, join in community activities and Neighbourhood Watch, and visit your local council for information on community safety schemes in your area.

Neighbourhood Meetings

Discuss community issues with your Neighbourhood Policing Team and have the chance to influence their priorities.

Learning Centre, St. Clements Road, Neyland at 7pm on the 2nd Wednesday of every month

  • 2nd Wednesday of every month, 7pm at The Teachers Centre, St Clements Road, Neyland

Surgeries

Speak with your local police in confidence.

  • Neyland: 1st Monday of the month between 10 and 11am in the Library, St Clements Road, Neyland
  • Johnston: 2nd Monday of the month between 10 and 11am in The Oasis Hall
  • Dale: 4th Monday of the month between 11am and 12pm in Dale Post Office
  • Hook: 4th Thursday of the month between 3 and 4pm in Newtown Stores
