Ceredigion North encompasses the vibrant town of Aberystwyth, the largest settlement in the county and a cultural and educational hub since the founding of its university in 1872. The area is known for its scenic seafront, historic pier and promenade, and the ruins of Aberystwyth Castle. It also covers areas south and north of the town including Llanrhystud and Machynlleth.
