Pembrokeshire South is a coastal region rich in history, tourism, and maritime activity. At its heart is Pembroke Dock, a working port town on the banks of the river Cleddau, offering ferry services to Rosslare, Ireland. Just a few miles away lies the historic town of Pembroke, home to the medieval Pembroke Castle, birthplace of Henry VII. The area also includes the village of Monkton and stretches eastward to the popular seaside resort of Tenby. Tenby is a key destination in West Wales known for its colourful harbour, sandy beaches, and vibrant tourism. Nearby coastal villages such as Saundersfoot and Amroth, and the inland market town of Narberth add to the region’s charm.
