Police, investigating reports of two robberies in Powys, have arrested a man. The robberies occurred at properties in the Llanidloes and Caersws area at approximately 5.30pm and 5.50pm respectively on Sunday 2nd November 2014. A knife was brandished by the offender during the robberies, no-one was injured. A 25 year old local man was arrested and currently remains in police custody. During the arrest a baton gun was discharged by police and the male was taken to hospital as a precaution. He was later released from hospital and currently remains in police custody. Police are not linking this to an earlier reported robbery in Caersws on the 9th October.
