‘No detail too small’ as search for missing Carmarthenshire man continues.

We continue to investigate the disappearance of Michael O’Leary, 55, from Nantgaredig. He was reported missing on Monday, January 27 2020.

We are still appealing for information on any sightings of Mr O’Leary on the night of Monday, January 27, or any sightings of his silver Nissan Navara travelling between Cwmffrwd and Capel Dewi between 8pm and 10pm the same night.

We would also like to hear from anyone with information who was in this area during these times.

We continue to appeal for any sightings or information about a cyclist, believed to be wearing a high visibility jacket, who was spotted travelling between Capel Dewi and Cwmffrwd on the evening of Monday, January 27.

Andrew Jones, 52, from Carmarthen was charged with Mr O’Leary’s murder on Monday, 3 February 2020.

As the search continues in to its third week, we also welcome any other information with could help the investigation. Any detail – no matter how small it may seem to you - could prove vital, and we urge people to get in touch.

Specialist officers continue to search locations in Carmarthen, including Bronwydd and Cwmffrwd, for any evidence that could assist the investigation.

Our thoughts remain with Michael’s family at this extremely difficult time.
