Take part in a rural crime survey

Farmers and people living in rural areas are being asked to take part in a survey to form a better understanding of rural crime.

Aberystwyth University is conducting the survey, which asks farmers for their experiences of crime, any farm-related crime in their area, police attitudes towards farm crimes and information about trust and the use of social networks.

The survey is supported by Dyfed-Powys Police, Country Landowners Association, Farmers Union of Wales, National Farmers Union and Welsh Lamb and Beef Producers Ltd. It is anticipated that the research will inform farmers, police and rural communities as well as producing academic publications in this field.

Participation is voluntary and anonymous.
