Police are appealing for information following a road traffic collision which occurred at approximately 12.30pm today (Monday 24th July) on the A4139 at Manorbier, Pembrokeshire.
A white Mercedes car and a pedal cycle were involved in the collision. The male cyclist was taken to hospital by air ambulance where he remains in a stable condition.
The road was closed with diversions in place and reopened at 3.45pm.
Sergeant Justin Williams, Pembrokeshire Roads Policing Unit said
“This is the second collision that has happened on this road in the last few weeks that involved a cyclist and a motor vehicle. With the large influx of visitors to the area our roads get busier as well and officers are reminding drivers and riders to take care when they are on the road and to drive safely and not put themselves or other road users in danger.. We want all drivers and riders to be safe. Every road user can contribute to making our roads safer by driving or riding their vehicles responsibly and complying with the various road traffic legislation.
Our message is clear – #EnjoyDPP safely – Be careful on our roads.”
