Dyfed-Powys Police is looking for interested individuals to be part of a team of trainers to deliver the National Driver Offender Retraining Scheme (NDORS) within the Dyfed-Powys area.

 

We are specifically looking for trainers to cover the Newtown and Aberystwyth areas.  Ideally, Trainers will already possess an NDORS licence for the following courses:

 

·         National Speed Awareness Course (classroom course)

·         Safe and Considerate Driving (classroom and on-road course)

 

Successful candidates will work alongside Dyfed-Powys staff on a self-employed arrangement and courses will be arranged on an ad-hoc basis according to demand.

 

Trainers must possess a minimum of the following qualifications:

·         Classroom Trainer - a nationally recognised qualification in delivering teaching or training

·         On-road Trainer - DVSA registered Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) qualification at a minimum grade B level.
