Several complaints had been received regarding vehicles parking just off the zig-zag lines outside the school. This is causing an obstruction and danger to the traffic.

Due to the recent road works there has not been an issue with parking around the School. This will be further monitored now that the ground works have been completed.

Concerns were raised about the speed of tractors passing through the 20mph limit in the Town.

Complaints have been received of youths gathering at the riverside on days and evenings in the summer.

A Community Speed Watch scheme is being established. Vetting forms have been given to volunteers. Once the forms have been handed back to us we will be able to progress with training, then make the scheme operational.

A renewed interest has been shown in the Scheme. New application forms have been printed and presented to the Town Council. Anyone interested in becoming a member of the CSW scheme should contact the Town Clerk or Newcastle Emlyn Police Station.
