During the run up the Christmas period, we anticipate there may be an increase in alcohol related incidents. Llandysul Neighbourhood Policing Team will be addressing these issues through a Patrol Plan.

Regular visits made to License premises in Llandysul area including Cilgwyn, Porth Hotel, Kings Arms, Ffostrasol Arms, Tafarn Bach.High Visibility Patrols conducted in the evenings.Pub Watch Meeting to be held in December in conjunction with the Behave or Be Banned scheme.Llandysul Neighbourhood Policing Team will also be targeting Drink Drivers over the festive period.

Concerns have been raised by the residents on Llyn y Fran Road of vehicles exceeding the speed limit of 30mph. This road is access to 2 schools, a doctors surgery and 2 housing estates. Residents have identified that the key times as between 07.30-09.00 and 3.00 and 17.00.

Concerns have been raised by local residents of Anti-Social Behaviour centred within New Road, Lon Wesley and the High Street. Residents have also highlighted the use of scooters and skate-boards on the main roads in Llandysul.
