20 April 2017

Further concerns have been raised regarding speeding in Boncath, Felindre Farchog and Abercych. We’v ecarried out ‘Read Your Speed’ operations in these areas and in Abercych alone 12 vehicles were seen to be exceeding the speed limit, with the highest recorded speed being 48mph in a 30mph zone. The owners of these vehicles will all receive warning letters, and we will continue to carry out these operations with a view to requesting support of ‘GoSafe’ and their speed enforcement van.

02 March 2017

Following contact with the local County Councillor, teh County Council have conducted a speed review and have agreed to share the results. We will conduct further Read Your Speed operations in Moylegrove and St Dogmaels this month and again in St Dogmaels during the Easter holidays.

15 February 2017

We’ve carried out ‘Read Your Speed’ operations on three occasions in the Moylegrove area recently but these have not shown any vehicles travelling over the speed limit. We’re also been working with County Councillors and Pembrokeshire County Council who carry out regular speed monitoring in these areas to identify any problem times. On Friday 10th February 2017 we also carried out speed monitoring in St Dogmaels village with pupils from St Dogmaels School as part of a school project.

Read Your Speed checks have been conducted in the Newport and Moylegrove areas in December, and these will continue.
