Following several incidents of anti-social behaviour and criminal damage to facilities at the Welsh Wildlife Centre, Cilgerran, officers have been conducting frequent patrols of the site and the surrounding area. A crime prevention assessment has been made and staff have been advised on action that they can take to protect the site, including the installation of CCTV.

Information provided by members of the public has proved key intelligence about the sale of illegal drugs by individuals in Cilgerran. This has assisted an ongoing campaign of action, including the execution of a warrant to search the address one suspected dealer in the community, which resulted in the discovery of illegal drugs.
