Request:
1) The number of police officers that have been investigated for misusing their warrant cards in the calendar years of 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and available information for 2022.
2) For each recorded case, please can you provide details of the incidents that led to formal and informal sanctions, and the outcome of that action. Please specify which incidents relate to which outcomes and in which year the incidents took place.
Response:
I can confirm that there is no information held/record by Dyfed-Powys Police as there have been a total of zero (0) officers investigated for the misuse of warrant cards in the calendar years of 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022.
It should be noted that owing to the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such matters the information provided may or may not be accurate. It should be noted that for these reasons this Force’s response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other response you may receive.
