Request 1 - 2:
1: Please advise the amount of money in monetary amount and percentage of the Force budget, the Force paid to comply with the apprenticeship levy to support PEQF and PCDA in the following financial years:
- 2021 – 2022,
- 2020 – 2021,
- 2019 – 2020,
- 2018 – 2019.
2: Please advise the amount of money in monetary amount the Force received back from Welsh Government to provide funding for PEQF/PCDA for the following financial years:
- 2021 – 2022,
- 2020 – 2021,
- 2019 – 2020,
- 2018 – 2019.
Clarification:
PEQF is the umbrella term for both the PCDA and DHEP programmes of study, therefore please can you confirm that all references to PEQF will include PCDA and other programmes of study.

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.

Please note: Dyfed-Powys Police receives funding via South Wales Police and the total amount is listed in the table above. The total amount of PEQF per year was £1m split between the four Welsh forces. This comes from two places; £400k is Welsh Government, and £600k is Home Office.
