I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold some of the information requested, the details of which are as follows:
Please note: The following information relates to the number of individuals stopped by an officer and issued with a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) for a child not wearing the appropriate seat belt equipment. In respect of questions 1 and 2 it is unclear whether the issuing of the TORs for a child not wearing the appropriate seat belt equipment related specifically to either travelling with children illegally without a child car seat and/or driving without the correct child car seat.

I can confirm that there is no information held/recorded Dyfed-Powys Police, all payments relating to fines are dealt with by HMCTS (His Majesty’s Courts and Tribunal Service).

I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold some of the information requested, the details of which are as follows:
Drivers are not issued with points on their licence for the traffic offence of a child not wearing the appropriate seat belt equipment as it is a non-endorsable offence.
It should be noted that owing to the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such matters the information provided may or may not be accurate. It should be noted that for these reasons this Force’s response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other response you may receive.
