I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request information on the use of facial recognition technology by your force and the associated costs over the financial years 2018/2019 to 2022/2023.

 

Please provide the following information:

• The costs incurred by your force in relation to the acquisition, operation, and maintenance of facial recognition technology over the financial years 2018/2019 to 2022/2023.

 

 

Response:

 

I can confirm that there is no information held/recorded by Dyfed-Powys Police in respect of your above request as we don’t operate a facial recognition system in force, consequently there are no associated costs.
