Request:
This request is made in the public interest, a Serious Crime Prevention Order is an order given by the Crown Court or High Court to prevent and disrupt the offender in future serious organised crime. An SCPO attracts its own specific legal framework, please can you answer the following questions?
1) Does the Dyfed-Powys Police Force ensure that SCPO management officers are well trained and well versed in the management of SCPO's?
2) Does the force have any policy in place to ensure that SCPO management is never contaminated between cross departments, example an SCPO given for fraud offences or drug offences would not be managed by Police officers who manage violent or sexual offenders?
The question is very important and needs to be answered because in an example sexual offenders in prison are normally dealt with separately from the general prison population, HMPPS has a policy for this so that normal offenders cannot be confused with sexual offenders.
3) Does Your MOSOVO unit manage non sexual and non violent offenders? An example of MOSOVO can be found here:
