Request:

Below is a FOI request seeking information on transit site provisions across the country. We are looking for an accurate number of how many transit sites are provided by local authorities and where these are located.

• Do you have any transit site provisions in your force area?
• Can you please confirm which local authority this falls under.
• Can you please provide contact details for the site manager.
• Do you use Section 62a-e to direct unauthorised encampments to the transit site?
• Could we please have a copy of your protocol for this (if you have one).
• Do you have any partnership agreements with any local authorities within your force area?
• If so, can you name which local authorities you have this with.
• Can we please have a copy of your partnership agreement.
• What are the main issues you come across with the transit site?

 

Clarification Q:

Can you please confirm that you wish for a response under the Freedom of Information Act from Dyfed-Powys Police as these questions may sit better with the local council authority rather that the Police themselves.

Clarification A:

I can confirm we would like the response from Dyfed-Powys Police.

 

Response:

I can confirm that there is no information held, this is due to the fact that the Freedom of Information Unit have been advised that Local Authorities manage these sites.
