- I would like to know what company has the contract to supply Dyfed Powys police with tyres for their vehicles and who carries out the m.o.t.s for Dyfed Powys police vehicles
- In addition to official vehicles, do any other companies offer discounts to police staff on a personal level?
Response:
I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.
Question 1:
Tyres are supplied by Goodyear UK. This is a national contract precured through Blue Light Commercial. Each Police force adhere to this.
Although Police Forces are exempt from MOT’s we at DPP carry out MOT’s as a third party quality assurance. MOT test stations as follows.
Carmarthen Workshop-Gwalia Garage
Brecon Workshop- CMJ Motors
Newtown Workshop- Richard Yorke
Aberystwyth Workshop- Delfryn Owens.
Haverfordwest workshop -Merlin Autos and Days Hwest
Question 2:
Dyfed-Powys Police offer an Employees Benefits Scheme which include discounts and is provided through ICOM Works
