Plane crash in Ahmedabad
The UK is working with local authorities in India to urgently establish the facts and provide support to those involved.
FOI Reference: 416/2024
I was informed that the law change to replace 'prostitute' with victim was 2013, not 2016, as originally and mistakenly quoted.
From the information sent to you on 10 April 2024, please provide:
a) Please provide a copy of your notification of the 2013 law change, identifying the amended clause(s)
b) Following the Home Office circular directing that police were not to investigate child sex exploitation, a number of chief constables expressed their concern to Nazir Afzal. It is not known whether their disquiet was expressed in 2008, or to whom at that time, and they later told Nazir Afzal that they had expressed their disquiet, or whether they expressed their concerns to Nazir Afzal following his whistleblowing in 2018.
Please provide any records showing an expression of disquiet over the Home Office circular.
Of course, the circular referenced by Nazir Afzal is still required.
Response:
I can confirm that there is no information held by Dyfed-Powys Police due to the fact that the Force does not hold any data relevant to the request.
