Q1: I can confirm that there is no information held as a result of the Force not having a team of officers or staff dedicated or responsible for enforcing COVID lockdown restrictions. The Force did have a team dedicated to issuing force guidance on the changing/most current rules, advice relating to covid sickness and ensuring the force had a consistent approach,
Q2: I can confirm that there is information held to answer this question. Enquiries have been made with the Force Finance Department who advise that the total cost which was project coded to Covid-19 for officer and staff pay and overtime, was £541k. We were able to submit claims for the cost of Covid-19.
