Since January 1st 2020, how many police officers and staff working for your force have taken sick leave of any length due to PTSD, anxiety, stress, depression, or any other mental health condition? Please list the figures for police officers and staff separately and also provide the numbers broken up into yearly totals.
Response:
I can confirm that Dyfed-Powys Police does hold the information requested, as outlined below.
The following numbers of officers/staff have been absent due to psychological disorders:

2021: 119
2022: 115
2023: 142
2024 1st January to 30th September: 136
Police Staff:
2020: 78
2021: 88
2022: 97
2023: 121
2024 1st January to 30th September: 83
It should be noted that as a result of the systems adopted by Dyfed-Powys Police in relation to the recording of such information that the information released may or may not be accurate.
